•1976년 부터 캘리포니아 LA 스튜디오시티에서 시작한 회사로 프랭크 자파, 드위질 자파, 워런 디마티니, 탐 모렐로, 조 월시 (이글스), 스티브 바이, 존 프루시안테 등 유수의 락 기타리스트가 애용하는 기타입니다. Steve Vai, Warren DeMartini의 기타를 제작해주었던 마스터 빌더 Kuni Sugai가 미국에서 운영하는 커스텀 기타샵 Performance Guitars의 작품. 특히 Jem의 프로토타입이었던 기타, 워렌드마티니의 스네이크 스킨 기타를 Performance가 제작했음.
